I've just tried to capture a thought floating in my head and when I looked: surprise, surprise, in tiny letters it said:

Made in China

YsaPur EsChomuw 03-09-2009 06:07 PM

YsaPur EsChomuw 03-09-2009 06:23 PM

Now you've trapped me with your shameless behaviour.

To no one in particular: It wasn't meee!

lukkucairi 03-09-2009 06:27 PM

I have no original thoughts: they all come from zefrank.com/bulletin_new

be careful what you think - my reputation is at stake

trisherina 03-09-2009 06:35 PM

All the (apparently) inanimate objects surrounding us are pushing thoughts into our heads all day and all night long. If you watch very closely you can see them trying.

zero 03-09-2009 06:58 PM

then we must shut ours eyes!

Brynn 03-09-2009 07:03 PM

yes, but then you dream, and it all gets distilled into real craziness which makes you even woozier.

It doesn't help: they keep pushing anyway. Otherwise blind people wouldn't be able to think.

Hyakujo's Fox 03-12-2009 09:40 PM

they just flit from head to head til they find a home

QOTD130309

Have you ever been lucky, or unlucky?

brightpearl 03-13-2009 12:36 AM

I cannot for the life of me figure out how to answer this question.

Jack Flanders 03-13-2009 01:26 AM

yes

trisherina 03-13-2009 01:39 AM

I have been unreasonably fortunate.

lukkucairi 03-13-2009 06:01 AM

"lucky" stands out

Stephi_B 03-13-2009 09:15 AM

both

YsaPur EsChomuw 03-13-2009 10:10 AM

or

xfox 03-13-2009 10:46 AM

yes, in the brother department. I have two amazing ones.

seebe 03-13-2009 10:46 AM

I think I'm pretty lucky except for rarely winning any significant amount over $2.00 in scratch off tickets.

seebe 03-13-2009 01:25 PM

On the other hand, just realizing this is friday 13th, I don't remember anything noteworthy unlucky happening to me.

sure, all the time.. inlcuding now.

but by & large i go along with "luck is a placebo effect" thinking. o yeh and a while ago i went through a phase of experimenting with the ideas in this book

lukkucairi 03-13-2009 04:48 PM

hm - I'm having a big party over at our house tonight, and the main sewer line just backed up.

is that luck?

lucky it happened in the morning, not at 9pm?

brightpearl 03-13-2009 04:52 PM

^Now see, that's exactly what I mean.

I'll have no idea what was lucky or not until the end of the movie. And even then, it'll be hard to say. So I dunno. I just get up in the morning when the alarm goes off.

lukkucairi 03-13-2009 08:14 PM

don't know - I feel kind of lucky today, all things considered...

we'll see what the evening brings :)
