^ oh god, i can't watch this

oh hell, oh hell, oh hell and it's just the 18th minute

it's over for us

Frieda 06-28-2010 12:56 PM

*phew*

and a penalty in the extra time!

Frieda 06-28-2010 01:00 PM

you guys were good btw, and persistent till the last second. i admire that. we always tend to pass the ball around and do nothing with it.

YsaPur EsChomuw 06-28-2010 01:05 PM

there were chances they missed, but they fought hard till the end, i must admit

i'm going to eat some chocolate to soothe my overexcited spirit :o

brightpearl 06-28-2010 01:08 PM

I am pleased to note that neither of you is a very good football hooligan.

I don't see a single upturned, burning Peugot in here.

YsaPur EsChomuw 06-28-2010 01:14 PM

i feel too weak to grab my tv and haul it out of the window
so more vigorous activities like car burning or a molotov cocktail party are absolutely out of question

YsaPur EsChomuw 06-28-2010 01:16 PM

on second thoughts i could light at least a tiny candle honouring the slovak football team leaving the pitch

brightpearl 06-28-2010 01:19 PM

Lovely sentiment, well-placed toward some hardworking and honorable athletes.
How unvalmeticulous of you.

Frieda 06-28-2010 01:25 PM

i have no idea what ^that means nor can i be arsed to look it up, but i do think that's a nice gesture :)

YsaPur EsChomuw 06-28-2010 01:29 PM

even if you did you wouldn't find it. unvalmeticulous is a sentiment reserved for losers.

however, if you'd still like to know, it means something like: ' vain efforts without gaining heaps of money, goodbye'

brightpearl 06-28-2010 01:34 PM

No no, it means "shrewd, thieving, devious meticulousness and on the contrary, the un-less version of it refers to quite successful efforts in the article I found it languishing in.

Or at least, that's what I surmise.
I meant to say that Ysa was being admirably devoid of deviousness.

A fine word. I'm so glad to have come across it.

Frieda 06-28-2010 01:44 PM

ah thanks for the explanation :)

anyway i'm off to turn up and burn down some peugeots-- not my own baby peug, obviously-- and get groceries.

i'm getting a bit football tired.. especially now we're probably up against brazil on friday. pfffffffff.......... :(

brightpearl 06-28-2010 01:47 PM

Have fun storming the castle!!

brightpearl 07-02-2010 03:47 PM

Ooooh, you Netherregioners are doing rather well!!

Frieda 07-02-2010 04:42 PM
