topcat 02-20-2009 12:05 PM

Stephi_B 02-20-2009 01:00 PM

There are so many.... :) The sexiest feature is unique for every given person and augenblick.

treekisser 02-20-2009 01:17 PM

New Question: If your house was burning, what would you save?

lukkucairi 02-21-2009 01:49 PM

my husband, my dog, my data

Stephi_B 02-21-2009 02:19 PM

handbag (which contains the most important stuff: phone, cash, bank card, health insurance card, passport)

YsaPur EsChomuw 02-21-2009 02:21 PM

There's no way I'd enter once more that hot burning hell when I'm already out. I wasn't made of hero material.

Frieda 02-21-2009 04:36 PM

the cat, myself, my neighbors and if possible, the house.

i've had fire training so i'm not scared of a grease fire in my kitchen but as soon as the curtains or the rugs are ablaze i'm definitely outta there.

zero 02-21-2009 04:53 PM

... the fire coming on in that narrow streete, on both sides, with infinite fury. sir w. batten not knowing how to remove his wine, did dig a pit in the garden, and laid it in there ... and in the evening sir w. pen and i did dig another, and put our wine in it; and i my parmazan cheese ...

In the following order (from little time to lots of time)
Bag of financial records/data.
Mixed bag of spare clothes (I hhave about 3 changes of clothes in a bag easy to throw out of boat).
....eh...If I had time to grab the instruments I'd have time to put the fire out...i have 3 easy to get at fire extinguishers spread around the boat.

madasacutsnake 02-22-2009 04:31 AM

Funnily enough, I have a box ready for just such an emergency. It has a list attached which reads something like:

Put cats in cages and put in car
Put lead on dog and put in car
Important Soft Toy
Blue folder (thats the bills, passports and insurance policies)
Cat food (one is on a special diet which might not be available in time of emergency)
Dog pills
John Browne
Sturt Desert Pea embroidery

I'm not hanging round longer than it takes to pack that gear.

... riot police are bracing themselves for a "summer of rage" with middle-class victims of the recession joining activists to besiege the headquarters of financial institutions.

... the officer added that banks, particularly those that still pay large bonuses despite receiving billions of aid from the taxpayer, had also become "viable targets" for protesters.

madasacutsnake 02-23-2009 05:38 PM

I don't wait for revolutions.
