Ezra I am very disappointed in you for posting what is clearly a zombie manifesto.

zero 08-03-2008 03:45 PM

i know nothing of such matters

brightpearl 08-03-2008 03:47 PM

Well, sure, that's just what a zombie would say.

madasacutsnake 08-03-2008 06:56 PM

Zombies can't speak.

Hyakujo's Fox 08-03-2008 09:26 PM

Question of a day:

what language would you like to learn and what would you say in it?

zero 08-05-2008 01:18 PM

gradually over time i'm learning asokoan from zomrix

after that rokovokoan or kokovokoan

(but not like those people you sometimes get who speak several languages yet cannie say anything in any of them)

12"razormix 08-05-2008 01:27 PM

zero 08-05-2008 01:33 PM

Frieda 08-05-2008 01:43 PM

i'd like to learn blootered scottish

just to be able to say SHADDUP properly :p

zero 08-05-2008 03:14 PM

frieda in fact many of the speaking-noises you make in your nether regions are not unlike scottish blooterese

brightpearl 08-05-2008 04:29 PM

Oooooh. Icelandic. And Chinese. Oh oh oh and Japanese.

What to say?

"One large pizza, thin crust, green olives and hot peppers, please."

YsaPur EsChomuw 08-05-2008 04:51 PM

Once I spoke the language of the flowers,
Once I understood each word the caterpillar said,
Once I smiled in secret at the gossip of the starlings,
And shared a conversation with the housefly
in my bed.
Once I heard and answered all the questions
of the crickets,
And joined the crying of each falling dying
flake of snow,
Once I spoke the language of the flowers…
How did it go?
How did it go?

Shel Silverstein

trisherina 08-05-2008 07:08 PM

the language of very small children

what do you see?

I wish I knew how to sing B.I.G.'s "Ready to die" album in Mongolian.

MoJoRiSin 08-05-2008 08:12 PM

Here's something to learn before you travel abroad..........

Whoa!!! I'd forgotten how badly they air-guitar'd, air-drummed, air-keyboarded, and air-tamborine'ed :D

madasacutsnake 08-06-2008 05:17 AM

Oooo, great segway.

Seeing as you brought up air bands, Coffee, new QOTD! How about this air band?

Coffee 08-07-2008 12:09 AM

Not sure if it played the same for you... it was outa sync for me, but looked like they would have been "on it" if it had been sync'd correctly.

I'll give em a 8.5

Bman 08-07-2008 12:17 AM

I'll give them a I IV vi V

brightpearl 08-07-2008 12:18 AM

Brilliant.

And not just because I have a huge crush on Donald Faison.

mmm mm mmmm.

zero 08-07-2008 12:34 PM

Brynn 08-07-2008 01:17 PM

I only got 31 out of a 100 - but I noticed that the ones I didn't think of all make a kind of loosely rhyming poem.

MoJoRiSin 08-07-2008 01:39 PM

I cid so very horribly on this......
however i notice that it doesn't always count all correct words
what's up with that?

BTW water and sound are on the list
i missed those ; )

Hyakujo's Fox 08-07-2008 09:47 PM

I got 48 but that was well after bedtime.

brightpearl 08-07-2008 09:48 PM

33
though I steadfastly resisted typing in "sound" or "water"

Turns out probably most of what I say, statistically, is utterly devoid of interesting content....

brightpearl 08-07-2008 09:49 PM

Foxy, is that like that episode of WKRP in Cincinnati where Johnny Fever does better on his reflex test after the trooper gives him several shots of whiskey?

T.I.P. 08-07-2008 10:44 PM

38%

a minute before the end i figured out that saying random sentences and typing all the words into the box helped me find common words that I wouldn't have thought of otherwise

I thought it might have been more like that episode of Seinfeld where George lost his glasses but by squinting could see perfectly well, as demonstrated by that time he and Jerry drove up to the Catskills and George spotted all those raccoons.
