Interesting fella. I'm relieved to have never been married to him.

Yes, it's enormous, don't you remember?
The air compressor nearly overheated before it was fully inflated.

The ones wrapped in maize-leafs... ugh! (Normal filter Gitanes are OK though - 'cept for their price)

the target market for maize leaf Gitanes are agriculturists over 75 years old, who make their own Gnôle.

Speaking of which, Gnôle shots on the house...prune flavored....

brightpearl 08-31-2007 02:14 PM

^Er. Does it taste better than it sounds?

I've got some lechuguilla. It's kinda like tequila, but made from a kind of agave with spines so thick it's called the "Shin Dagger."

T.I.P. 08-31-2007 02:19 PM

you're not supposed to pronounce the "G".

think "gnôle" as in "español"

not "gnôle" as in "gnome"

^Yeah, I meant the "Prunella" part, actually...

Although this reminds me of grocery shopping this morning. Always fun when there are 2 or more languages in common use. I caught sight of a frozen confection kinda like a Drumstick, labeled "Conos" and did a double-take...who else knows some slang?

Tildes are so important.

sry :o

i forgot how much of a language expert you are ;).

You can hardly taste the prunella btw (it's usually over 60 degrees / 120 proof)

T.I.P. 08-31-2007 02:26 PM

'k, gotta run for a bit...take over for me berylly ?

brightpearl 08-31-2007 02:28 PM

Can't, I gotta dissect an unfortunate rat. I'll just leave the preservation fluid in this jar marked "Free Moonshine" and everyone can serve themselves...

T.I.P. 08-31-2007 02:30 PM

good idea. I left a bag of stale and chewy peanuts on the bra in case anybody gets hungry for salty snacks...

brightpearl 08-31-2007 02:32 PM

I hope they aren't the ones I swept up earlier...

Have fun, all!

Stephi_B 08-31-2007 02:53 PM

Yeah these were the very same peanuts... saw Terry fishing them and an empty chips bag out of the waste bin... but that fluid should disinfect everything ;)

Hasta lunes!

:)
