i spent all day at work doing nothing because there were only 7 out of 120 people in my department around. no, let me correct that--

first my colleague discovered a green woodpecker picking at the grass in front of the office, then we spotted two jays in the park across from our office building and then we saw a buzzard fly over.

oh, and we saw the police handing out fines to a bunch of scooter kids throwing fireworks around.
