Kumquats. They're meant to be eaten peel and all, and I have to say they're not my favorite thing in the world.

you're supposed to squeeze and roll them between your fingers before you eat them. it softens the skin and releases some of the juices.

still, not really worth the effort.

I've always thought of them as the opposite of an orange. Sweet peel, sour, I repeat, sour center. Tasty, if you're in a masochistic mood. :rolleyes:
