I can't beat that.
so here's a boring video of ferrets.
Put those ferrets in some petticoats and some black and red costumes, teach 'em to jimjam with the rest of them, and we just might have a new internet sensation...
Not to make you look at it again or anything...
....but if you look at it again just for the wonder of the interactive choreography and all, you'll see a near-miss with a blonde on a collision course with Mr. Nabors around 1:19 - 1:20. However, he's such a pro, it doesn't even phase him.
I began to imagine the hours of rehearsal that went into this number, and the countless decisions that went with it. Should we hang silver streamers and go with blue rhinestone leotards, or stay true to Jim's country-boy roots and go with the weird hoe-down theme, complete with the strangely "rustic" dining room lanterns? The pleasant passive-aggression of Jim Nabors, who just isn't satisfied with "good enough," and makes them polish the number to a fine sheen for hours upon hours....all the while encouraging the exhausted, underpaid dancers with false hopes of taking them on an imminent USO tour for troops in Viet Nam as soon as he has a chat with his good friend, Bob Hope at his next golf tournament, etc.

I'd like to think that Jim is laughing too, somewhere, all snuggied up in a slanket with his special someone, watching perpetual reruns of "The Carol Burnett Show," daintily sipping hot cocoa laced with healthy dollops of scotch, and feeding little bits of scrambled egg to his unusually submissive pomeranian.
