human top-half, animal bottom-half - obvious ;)

In fact, it doesn't very much matter which. I've always thought about the Minotaur, lonely and leathal, living hidden in a dark labyrinth, imprisoned. But it can be any half-human creature, not belonging, not understanding, not understood.

I understand you.

YsaPur EsChomuw 04-09-2008 08:03 AM

:) You think, eh?

Marcus Bales 04-09-2008 08:04 AM

When I understand, I understand -- and I understand.

Why not either part? :p

Question of the Day for Wednesday:

Where's home for you?

Frieda 04-09-2008 08:42 AM

Stephi_B 04-09-2008 10:22 AM

i haven't figured out yet. it's not where i grew up anymore. and as long as i've been living in apartments i haven't allowed myself to really regard myself as "home." we're buying a house and hopefully that will be "home" but it's yet to be determined how long that will take.

i feel homeless most of the time.

Earthling 04-09-2008 06:49 PM

I'm glad you asked that question.

I had a strange dream last Sunday.

In my dream, my friend is pointing at the setting sun, and she says "That is where home is."

So I think to myself "Well, we are currently in Detroit*, she is pointing to the setting sun, which is East, and France is East of Detroit. So that makes perfect sense - home is that way."

It is only when I woke up and recounted the dream that I realized that in reality the sun sets in West.

I guess I'm a bit confused as to where home is right now

*I've never been to Detroit, but, hey, isn't that what dreams are for ?

brightpearl 04-10-2008 12:58 AM

^oooooh.
that's a good one.

off to the dreams thread...

erm, I thought the yeti lived in the himalayas and bigfoot lived in the rockies...or was that sasquatch...?

home is nowhere or anywhere, I suppose, but I like it here :)

T.I.P. 04-10-2008 01:33 AM

psssst watch out lukku, auntie saw her fingards today but can't take any pain meds, so it's probably not the best time to challenge her on the subject mythical beasts. Even if it is in small font lowercaps.

lukkucairi 04-10-2008 01:41 AM

I know! I was hoping to distract her from her pain by giving her something else to be annoyed at ;)

Stephi_B 04-10-2008 09:03 AM

New ¿question?:

What have you lost and regained/retrieved?

Me:
a while ago -- sleep, weight
not so long ago -- a good friend
recently -- healthy kma attitude, one of my fav lighters
very recently -- what I didn't think of ;)
