David Byrne.

It was in a smallish venue; the Luther Burbank Center in Santa Rosa, CA. The most "special" thing about it, other than his amazing musicianship, was when he came out into the foyer and danced, chatted, and shared refreshments with the audience after the show. The bawdy (and quite possibly drunk) marching band he hired to close the show was pretty special too...esp. when one of the female members of the troupe started flashing her boobs.

Now that's a good concert!

Jeff Buckley, spring 2006, Los Angeles. I knew the guy in high school so I thought maybe my enjoyment was biased - also the fact that I got to hang out with him afterwards and collected a coupla big smooches - but it seems like a lot of other people thought he was a great artist too. Miss him muchly.

I noticed that, too, but I still write checks for 2003 or 04.

Neil Young in Philly at the Tower. For the Finale he played the pump-organ and the harmonica at the same time!!!

best concert I ever went to was Shadows Fall, The black Dahlia Murder, and the Haunted. (All Hardcore/ Trash metal bands)
. Location: Crowbar State College. PA

No seats. I was center stage 2 second person from the barricade. So close I touched each lead singer. I also got to meet and get autographs and pics with each one after the show.

so yeah...It rocked..
