1. Favorite breakfast food.

IHOP at 3 am after a night drinking and listening to bands

2. Something your friends all tease you about.

we all give each other shit about anything we can think of, so it's nothing in general and everything all at once

3. Name at least five (more is okay) human qualities you admire and/or love.

willingness to at least pretend to be interested in breaking down a 4-3/3-4/56/nickel/dime/etc defense, not thinking i'm insane for listening to shit-kicking old school country on occasion, someone who can make me laugh (it ain't easy), someone who doesn't have the irresistable urge to throw knives at me, and someone who doesn't need to be medicated to get through a day

4. High school celebrity crush?

i don't know if this was from high school or not, but i've always had a thing for meg ryan

5. Favorite radio station(s) - and why?

ummm... not much of a radio listener, but the don and mike show out of DC cracks me up a lot

6. If you could have the career of your dreams, but it meant (through some cruel trick of the universe or maybe a requirement of the career) that you would never meet & marry the love of your life - would you do it?

oh i'm sure i could find a girl who'd love me for being a naked baseball commentator.... who wouldn't love that?

7. What's your best beloved item of furniture?

i like my black leather couch right now

8. Favorite dish made with beans. (Extra points if you include a recipe.)

7 alarm chili--- the stuff that makes you swear you'll never eat it again the next day

9. If you could choose one unparalleled talent, what would it be? Why? (Note - this doesn't have to be an artistic talent.)

the ability to like more people

10. You just won the lottery - 100 mil. What do you do with the money?

pay off my idiot friends' debts (and see if the wives still hate me after that), pay off my own, find some boat somewhere with a good fishin' pole and be off into the sunset....

Nothing makes me feel like I'm among friends more than the fact that everyone loves their sofas so much.

I suppose it has to be the traditional full english breakfast
A full explanation as requested:

The above usually consists of....

Bacon, fried eggs (or scrambled), mushrooms, tomatos, baked beans, toast on the side, and black pudding if you're lucky!
With a selection of either brown sauce or tommy K!

Beverages: Orange juice and Tea.

I think that covers it... feel free to add anything DickieC!

I seems to be a case of 'beds versus sofas' so far the sofas are in the lead... COME ON YOU BEEEEDDS!!!

Would that be toast fried in oil, Ms. egg? (Something we find a bit strange in the States.)

If I may intervene on behalf of my compatriot....

Toast is not the same as Fried Bread. Fried Bread is not fried in oil but in the fat from the bacon (and everything else). It is very, very bad for you but very very tasty.

Though I am partial to American-style hickory-smoked bacon. If only it weren't so fatty...

Addendum: I was once asked by an American on a train, whilst discussing English Breakfasts, "what those green things were?". This one had me stumped at the time until I realised they meant mushy peas. These are truly revolting, IMHO: they have the consistency of guacamole but taste nothing like peas. There is a famous incident where a British politician, rumoured to be Peter Mandelson, went into a fish-and-chip shop and asked for guacamole with his cod-and-chips. (NB for non-Brits: this probably apocryphal story is told to poke fun at New Labour politicians when they assume working class credentials. Imagine one of Clinton's New Democrat acolytes having a meal in a diner and pretending to be all folksy. Wait a minute, that happens all the time...)

Enough breakfast already. It's 5 in the afternoon.

No, they do have RD in the US now. I think they're even trying to make a feature film of it.
