Ms. Snake, sounds like you needed a hug!

The best part of my day: I have successfully removed all of the cactus spines from my hands and the one that got between my toes, amazing, I have no idea how is got there. I do NOT suggest trying it out though.

Lying in the backseat of a car with my head on my girlfriend's shoulder, while we mumbled semi-incoherently to each other. I think we may have discussed something important, but I'm too tired to remember.

And it was raining, which added greatly to the ambience.

Between trips from our old house to our new house hauling over the rest of the crap, I went to my coffeeshop and bought a bottled mexican coke. Kidless, I stood outside watching the sun set and inhaling secondhand smoke from the passel of smokers out front as a jumbo jet flew over at cruising altitude leaving four brilliant white contrails.

The mexican coke (made with sugar instead of High Fructose Corn Syrup) played over my tongue just differently enough and added a certain familiar friction to my teeth to take my psyche back to days of old before Coke Classic and Bill Cosby when my dad was still alive.
...and another handful of almonds

Watchin bink and his friend Travis spend half a day trying to tie two bottlerockets in opposite directions then lighting them and seeing which one won.
I just LOVE what you haven't done with the place!

I realized that this is the day "The Riches" debut. No matter what else happens today, I have that to look forward to this evening. Yay, Eddie Izzard!
I, not events, have the power to make me happy or unhappy today. I can choose which it shall be. Yesterday is dead, tomorrow hasn't arrived yet. I have just one day, today, and I'm going to be happy in it.

I love Eddie Izzard. thanks for the reminder!
1. While sitting at your desk, lift your right foot off the floor and make clockwise circles.
2. Now, while doing this, draw the number "6" in the air with your right hand.
3. Your foot will change direction.

this thread is difficult for me. it's easy for me to identify the lowlight of any given day. it's much harder to identify the highlight. i should work on that.
