I do not recommend eating at Brown's restaurant, Woodstock Road, Oxford. The service is appallingly slow, and the last time I went there I got terrible food poisoning from a frozen chip in my mushroom soup. Took me two days to get over.

dickie, is georgieans (sp?) still in the covered market? best place to get a bagel in oxford.

don't remember seeing it last time i was there (i.e. today). i think your best bet for a bagel is G+D's on St. Aldates or Little Clarendon St.
Edamame is good if you like japanese. boiled soy beans yum yum!
