Nicaragua Handbook

What's the etiquette on plugging one's own book on this forum? Guess I'll have to ask Zefrank next time I see him down at the spanking club.

In any case, Moon Handbooks Nicaragua, my first book (co-authored with m´boy Randy Wood), just came out and yesterday I saw it on the shelf at Barnes & Nobles for the first time. That was a good moment. I highly reccommend experiencing it.

MOON HANDBOOKS NICARAGUA: http://www.moon.com/catalog/nicaragua.html

This is the first ever comprehensive guidebook to a fascinating country with a bad rep. It was written based on three years experience living in Nicaragua, first as a Peace Corps Volunteer, than as a musky-smelling guidebook author.

In case you ever wondered:
The making of a travel guidebook: a grim, behind-the-scenes exclusive.

your book came out just a few days before i headed down to nicaragua to visit my brother (peace corps, surfer etc). the nica chapters in other guide books kind of sucked.

my brother

was psyched about the book - he said he met you, and did his training in the town you served in (the name of which escapes me)

his name is matt (mateo). He lives in jinotepe and does small business development.

small world, huh?
