Richmond, VA/Louisville, KY

When in Richmond, stop by Strawberry Street Cafe on--what else?--Strawberry Street, between Park and Hanover. It's the place to take a date, but you can take your mom there, too (on a separate night, perhaps). And stop by Millie's, way the hell out east Main Street, in the Church Hill area, for the best Sunday brunch you've ever had.

In Louisville, go to Lilly's. I can't remember where it is, but ask any local, and he or she can tell you how to get there. If you're in the mood for something artsy and tasty, try Lynn's Paradise Cafe on Barret Avenue. The best cheese grits in the whole wide world come from the kitchens of Paradise.

ahhhhhhhhhhhh Richmond

went to college in Richmond, loved Strawberry Street Cafe and when I worked downtown (first job - advertising agency) we went to Millie's almost everyday for lunch.

Also check out Bogarts Back Room on Lombardy
Joe's Inn on Shields for GREAT breakfast
and finally The Village on Grace Street ... doesn't get any better than that ... many good memories there.
I know he can GET the job, but can he DO the job
