I know I must be 'uncultured' to ask this...but what the heck is a "draught horse"?

Draught: the English variation of "draft" meaning, a : the act or an instance of drinking or inhaling; also : the portion drunk or inhaled in one such act b : a portion poured out or mixed for drinking.

Horse: (1) : a large solid-hoofed herbivorous mammal (Equus caballus, family Equidae, the horse family) domesticated since a prehistoric period and used as a beast of burden, a draft animal, or for riding.

But really it's just a seedy little regulars-only bar where when the bar gets too crowded you just take your pitchers, pints, bottles, or plastic roadies (defined below) to the parking lot and sit in lawn chairs to shoot the s..., so to speak.

Plastic roadie: cheap tumbler, usually the kind given away at sporting events, frat parties, the prom, etc. They fit snuggly in cup holders (or in my case, the space between the parking brake in the down position and my seat); fill the various alocholic beverages, most often the kind mixed with soda, juice, anything that hides the alcohol smell.

i went to the draught horse the other day (now called the draught house) and really liked it. very nice beer selection and atmosphere.
