Fast Food Nation is an excellent book that'll make you never want to eat fast food again. I recommend The Jungle by Upton Sinclair as companion reading.

I agree - I read that book and avoided ground meat like the plague.

Although, I think I need to do some re-reads - I fell for some (M)IckyD's today. And I feel dirty. oh so dirty....
