At the *very high* risk of sounding geeky..
anyone interested in a mini book club?
Oh god I regret this already...... |

What do you want to read?
(I'd like it to be something better than Bryson, J. (2005) Creating and implementing your strategic plan or Bridges, W. (2003) Managing Transitions: making the most of change. even though I have to read those already.) Last edited by trisherina : 09-03-2005 at 02:41 PM. |

Well, okay, but the New Edition of the PRINCE2 Manual could be pretty damn riveting.
I'll do my best to pick up Cloud Atlas today. |

Excellent. If the general consensus is Cloud Atlas, I'll go for that. I would prefer "the time traveler's wife" if anyone wants to (just cos I have it in my library.... and I've heard it's better) but I'm easy.

I didn't find it where I was buying groceries (it was a long shot, to be sure). But I know where I can pick it up anytime, and will yet.

Okay, I'm a couple chapters into Cloud Atlas. I've never been in a book club before either- do we wait until people have reached a certain point and discuss, or do we wait for everyone to finish before we discuss... or what?

I went to pick up Cloud Atlas but it was only available in every chain store but the one nearest me. I'm too sick to do much hunting right now, but I'll be right along with you if I can get the rat dude to pick it up for me.
