The Shawshank Redemption.

Not a movie, but the episode of ER where Dr. Green died was heartwrenching.

Not weird. This is one of the best movies I've ever seen.

1. The American President - because I would give my right arm, left arm, right leg, left leg and even my buttocks to have a president like "Andrew Shepherd." His "Yes I'm a member of the ACLU - the question is - why aren't you, Bob?" (majorly paraphrased) speech makes me cry.

2. And since Gatsby "broke the rules" and brought up an episode in a drama (I cry for that one too, Gats - and can't hear that version of "Over the Rainbow" without tearing up) - the Judging Amy episode where Maxine finds out Jared Duff has died always makes me sob. I cry a lot over Judging Amy episodes.

I never used to cry much - still don't - except over silly things like movies, tv shows and assorted commercials.

Irony of ironies - guess what I just watched on TNT? The American President. I swear, I didn't know it was on today - I haven't gone out and bought the Sunday paper with the TV Guide yet. LOL It's a popular movie to play on TNT though, so every Sunday when I get the paper, I scour the TV Guide to see if TAP will be on at all that week. It'll be on again tonight at 1:30 AM - I'll be watching (and bawling).

Oh, second irony - what's on now? Steel Magnolias

Makes you wonder if they're watching this forum for scheduling ideas. LOL
