It's like you get paralyzed. I go to do the wall, trip over something, get pissed an go back in the house, find a week's worth of laundry, go in the living room, see all my stuff from the studio i can't go in and I get in the car and leave.

Deck Framing...
I just talked the contractor out of pulling down all the 2x12's he had put up, because he needs an inch of drop on it for runoff, and the guys put the boards running downhill an inch, instead of shaving the 2x 12s. I don't care if the deck is off an inch above me. They need the inch anyway, where they get it is of no concern to me! Like I'd notice the ceiling wasn't level in this Jed Clampett house! So, I saved the guys 4 hours of work. AAAAAAAAAA!

Thank god there are others! lol
I currently have no bedroom floor..only subflooring
The kitchen is also only 1/3 done because of the cabinet delimma. Grrrrrrr!
My house is in "transition"..yeah, whatever. It is a mess. The one room that is actually finished has now become a storage unit for all the crap that needs moved for the unfinished ones.
And you guys are right; you get overwhelmed and then nothing gets done. Only upside is that I use it as an excuse not to have company over..that's mean, isn't it?

That's not mean, it's self preservation of the ego. I have always felt, tho, that Martha Stewart would send a hit man for me anyway, if she knew me.

The only thing that's good about this, is it keeps the chickens off the porch.

Cripes, I 've had a full semi-sized dumpster in my driveway for a year!!!! (several different ones)
