I cannot. stop. thinking. about the figs, bacon, and gorgonzola.

This, sir, is food porn!

HAHAHAHA....food porn.

Stuff a fig with gorgonzolla, wrap with bacon and grill or fry.
Decadent and fattening as hell...that is food porn. I can only eat 3 before I "flavor overload".

Not my creation...got it from a newpaper food-section article. It was the inspiration for my pizza though.

Thankfully I have a fig tree.

STOP it, STOP it

OK keep going

(picture the call girl from "lost in translation" writhing on the floor)

You have a fig tree ?! As they say in Jamaica, Lawdamassy.

(lord of mercy)

One of my favourites that is less fattening and almost as voluptuous is a half of a fig wrapped in prosciutto, drizzled with reduced balsamic vinegar, and topped with a big curly shaving of parmesan cheese.

Sorry to get off the pizza track but this is irresistible.

making all of these adjustments to your pizza defeats the purpose of eating pizza

you should be able to put it in the oven, wait a bit, take it out, and eat the shit out of it since it looks like fantastic ninja turtles pizza

for me, this easy treat is most definitely tombstone

BBQ Shramp...that could be nice on a pie. Would need some kind of white suace, I think, to not overpower the shrampies.

But if you reaaaalllly like freezer pizza...try this cost saving recipie.

Cut a round piece of cardboard.
spread with catsup.
top with velveeta cheese subsitute or american cheese slices.
If you would like to add a meat...add bologna.
Bake at very low heat to avoid igniting cardboard in oven.

Enjoy.
(juuusss kidding fodder...i've eaten Store freezer pizza too...I usually regret it...but it is technically edible).

And thanks Catbelly, for link to recipe page...I have seen it.
There does seem to be a gaping hole in the Pizza food group category...lol. No time now...but perhaps I'll get daring and try to add something. More to try, more to try. This site is soooo time consuming...but fun.

Hehe. Thanks a bunch for bumping this up PfP.

I'm a tiny bit bummed I forgot about this, it would have been fun baking a pizza.
