Girly thread... part deux

The other girly thread has mysteriously vanished. Girly help is needed, so I'm starting a new one.

Does anyone (boys, share your experience too ) know about those stick on bras? I'm going to a pretty big summer ball in June, and my dress is a bit backless, with thin ribbon straps, so i can't wear a bra.

I could go without, but as it's a bit of an important occasion, and I'd like to avoid popping out instances, I'm wondering about those stick-on ones! They seem a bit painful to me.... Actresses use masking tape don't they? But as I'm going with the boy, I'd quite like to look and feel sexy, which I can't see happening if I'm covered in masking tape!

Advice? Any bright ideas?

- Concerned of a pop out, Brighton

It all depends on how well.. ummmm... endowed you are. The stick on bra's are good, (so a friend says) but not exactly supportive and you may run the risk of everything going tits up.. if you'll pardon the expression.
If you can't really do without good support then I would suggest a bra specifically designed for backless dresses. Mind you, they look a bit like some kind of medieval torture device, so if said boy is planning on gettin you out of the dress, post party, then maybe stick on is the better option.

You're more than welcome fellow Brighton girly!

Toupee tape is good as it's double sided and able to deal with body moisture etc..

Have great fun at the ball!

Or just use bandaids

Has anyone tried Nuvo Ring? The pill's been making me insane and such, and I wanna try something different.

try out any kind of tape for your bra onto delicate skin somewhere to test if you're allergic.. i walked around with blistered boobs for a week when i used boob tape. definitely NOT cool.

edited to add: still looking for one of beforementioned torture devices that you can actually sit down with.. the moment i find one i'm buying it!

Yeah, the one thread where pictures might actually be useful and interesting and there's not a picture to be found!

Those look pretty silly -- why don't they just build them into the dresses?

It all depends on the design of the dress. A company called Bravissimo, for larger chested women, has done a range of tops with built in bra support but it's not always that easy. Imagine a floaty summer dress.. it'd be hard to incorporate a built in bra... hey, maybe you should design one! you could make millions!

i'll take a pic next time my tits are blistering off

about the torture devices-- i've got a load of those things, but they're all round at the bottom, so if you sit down the thing rests on the side of your hips and the whole unit moves upward. if they'd make those things with a pointy bit on the front and the back and shorter in length on the sides, it'd be perfect!

I shamelessly volunteer to test these new devices for their ergonomic qualities and "life like" feel.

If you are bigger than a C cup, you are going to be disappointed with a stick on bra. We used to call them Sticky Boobs behind customers backs when I worked @ JCPenney's. Just kidding. A woman came up to me & asked me for Sticky Boobs when I was covering the lingerie counter's lunch break.

also, AngiePangie, have not tried the NuvaRing. Mircette works wonders, OvCon35 is not bad, Mircette is better.
