I am thinking about moving to London. What do flats cost over there, and do they sell hot sauce at the shops?

To get something cheap in london you have to live in the really rough areas. Most people I know in london share a house/flat with other people iin order to afford living there. If you look at 1 hour commuting distance from London you have much more options.

My sister and her boyfriend have a 2-bedroom flat in a London suburb that costs about £850 per month to rent, and that's pretty cheap by London standards. It's not a cheap city. Rune is correct that it's cheaper further out, but then you can spend £100 per month on commuting into the city centre. That's economics for you. I am fairly certain there is a little corner shop somewhere selling hot sauce, whatever that might be. And all our family worry about our London relatives because of the threat of a terrorist attack on London. One more reason why Britain shouldn't be associating itself with the USA right now. NYC: Hull is awful. Don't go there. You would be bored out of your mind. (On the other hand, it would save me transatlantic stalking air fares....)

well, it would be a military move and they pay big bucks for housing. I think I would prefer to live in London than in some crappy ghetto english town. Dickie, if I do move there, I will make you some Mexican food, I will bring a three year supply of hot sauce with me! Beers for all!
