#1- What is the single worst job interview question you have ever been asked?

Where do you see yourself in 5 years? "Um, I want your job?" What the f*ck am I supposed to say to that? "F*ck, lady, I don't know where I'm going to be tomorrow, ok?"

Current one. She hasn't given up on me yet & I've had it pretty rough these last 3.5 years.

You heartless bastard! Of course I wouldn't!

The All-Employment Questionairre

#1- What is the single worst job interview question you have ever been asked?
can't recall. i blank most of them out.

#2- What was your first job?
lol, working at Boston Chicken. my parents forced me into it. grrr.

#3- What job have you held for the shortest time? How long?
24 Hour Fitness. i only worked there like not even 3 months.

#4- Describe your worst boss.
the one i have now. about 50, grey slicked back hair, green shirts with large tropical leaf patterns on them, can't stay married for more than 8 months, smells like a locker room stuffed with teenage boys just hitting puberty. smokes cigars like a fiend, rolls over and plays dead for the bosses, doesn't appreciate his employees and would rather put every ounce of blame on his staff than have a drop of it hit his desk. he's a smarmy salesman; in otherwords a minon of the devil.

#5- Describe your best boss.
the one before him. very nice, fair, equitable, would lay his life on the line for any one of his employees. knew how to make you like coming to work. good guy.

#6- Have you ever had a job-related injury? (attacks from office equipment counts)
when waiting tables i hit a pile of mashed potatoes that the manager neglected to clean up and took a dive. there've been more, but that's the only one i can recall at the moment.

#7- Will you hire me?
YES! let's start our own business. we're f*cking smart enouth, every damn one of us.

#8- What is the longest time you have gone without a job?
one semester.

#9- Direct deposit or old-fashioned check?
direct deposit. i will avoid going to the bank at all costs.

#10- What is the biggest half-truth (or lie) that you have told during a job interview?
that i knew QuickBooks. good thing it's an easy f*cking program and i'm smart enough to figure it out DURING the job interview.

#11- If you were told that you would get a raise today if you fire a bullet into a cute puppy's head, would you do it?
not a chance in hell.

#12- How many pages is your resume?
i try to keep it to 2. anything more than that and people will miss the important stuff. first page is all the experience, second is skills, attributes and references.

Unlucky #13- What percentage of your resume accurately reflects you as a person?
not a whole hell of a lot. my Organizational affiliations reflect a considerable amount of my personality. i also have a list of attributes to give the reader an insight as to how i'd dedscribe myself.

#1- What is the single worst job interview question you have ever been asked?
I'm with the others... can't remember... most of my jobs are temp assignments so I don't have to do a lot of interviewing (YAY!)
#2- What was your first job?
My first unofficial job was in my parent's office at home - they did document preparation. I learned how to use an IBM Electronic Selectric Composer (with the font ball) - impressed all my teachers with my neatly typed papers - learned how to copy edit etc. It's served me well -
My first official job (I think I've mentioned this before) was at Yum Yum Donuts. Gah. Disgusting job. It's amazing I can still eat donuts.

#3- What job have you held for the shortest time? How long?
I drove an ice cream truck for one day - got lost & ran out of gas.

#4- Describe your worst boss.
Hmmmm.... I can't think of the *worst* boss - I've had a few that were very abusive, often in insidious ways.

#5- Describe your best boss.
A couple of years ago I worked for this incredible woman for about 6 months - I wanted to be her when I grow up Very smart, very very good at what she did, good mom, excellent communicator, warm, laid back but still professional. Impossible combination but she did it.

#6- Have you ever had a job-related injury? (attacks from office equipment counts)
Hmmmm - never actually *in* the office - but I've injured myself a couple times doing things with office buddies... I've mentioned the bowling "splits" incident...

#7- Will you hire me?
How are you with bankruptcies?

#8- What is the longest time you have gone without a job?
Two years.

#9- Direct deposit or old-fashioned check?
Old-fashioned check - but only through necessity.

#10- What is the biggest half-truth (or lie) that you have told during a job interview?
To get a cocktailing job I said I'd had experience - it was sort of a half-truth - I'd done plenty of serving before... but mostly food.
I crammed drink recipes for three days - then mostly served beer & wine (and the occasional Cape Cod & Greyhound...)

#11- If you were told that you would get a raise today if you fire a bullet into a cute puppy's head, would you do it?
No effin' way. No amount of money is worth that. I don't think...

#12- How many pages is your resume?
One. But I have three different resumes. (Admin, graphics, & music)

Unlucky #13- What percentage of your resume accurately reflects you as a person?
Not a single part. I am not my resumes... I need to get a pro to write them, I think
