Voters who cannot read are already at a disadvantage because they cannot read about the issues. Trying to form an opinion based on political ads on TV and televised appearences is intrinsically less reliable than forming an opinion based on a wider assortment of datum-including typographically published materials.

Anyhow, doubtless this thing would get a lot of media coverage.
