Thanks Deviate. I intended to lighten the day of those dreary East coast inhabitants dealing with the winter weather, but I guess that the picture might be a little to light and cheery for any replies.
(pouting) Any way, maybe those fine artist can re-render my creation to show how they really feel about their weather. |

yuki daruma-san desu!
(the extent of my japanese....It's Mr. Snowman!) My kids taught me snowman this week: yuki daruma. I try to use it in every conversation so it'll stick. |

no, it attacks people and woodland creatures w/ the pinecones. once i met a guy who told me he actually ate pinecones. i wonder if he made them into a pie or something.

I used to do that as a kid. Turn a frisbee upside down, use that as a "palette" and go around the yard and pick up whatever to make a little designs. Pincones were fun, as were dandelions.
My mother called them "yard salads". |
