Is there no way to escape watching myself do this?

I just took a shower, but first I had to remove the cat box from the shower because that is where we keep it away from the dog. After we obtained the kitten, the dog began to pass enormous liters of gas. She had enjoyed a few successful weeks of sneaking kitty fudge, then passing it around in the form of blue haze, before we finally caught on to the dog's extra cirricular eating habit.

At first, the dog became depressed after we took the cat box away, but I assured her that nobody is allowed to eat out of the box, not mom, not dad, not the cat. The neighbors were just saying, "no" as well.

I also told her we aren't going behind her back - so to speak, that all the glorious rocha gets flushed away every day.

She didn't like it at all. She does get her head stuck in the sliding door once in a while when she thinks nobody is paying attention. Then I have to reset the sticks just so to keep it open enough for the cat.

Well, I was just thinking of all this and being awfully glad I am not a dog that would find kitty fudge irresistable.

I have so many stories in my head, I sometimes forget I'm not a work of fiction. It's quite startling to remember.

Yes, sweetie. Stairs are the only thing I "take two at a time."

And I think I hear your momma calling you.

why the hell does "semicolon uppercase d" represent a smile better than actually smiling?

has the human brain evolved to prefer emoticons to emotions?

I wish that by putting Athorntuhkat and his gang on "ignore" I wouldn't have to look at the titles of their threads as well.

I'm thinking some very ugly things about them. Wishing the last stages of prostate cancer upon the bots' perpetrators is not going to make them go away.

i am walking past a series of park benches. there is a man. he is sitting talking to a lady, maybe a coworker. he is likely in his 50s, maybe older. white and silver hair. his face is tanned. he travels quite a bit and has just returned from one of his trips. his arms are resting on his thighs, hands hanging folded between his knees. he's bent slightly forward, not smiling but serene. brown corduroy jacket, clean shoes. he is tastefully dressed. white shirt, the kind that i like. his children are grown and doing well. he has two. children that is. probably a boy and a girl. he knows exactly where he stands and what he wants. he works a lot and he loves what he does. he almost never gets angry. he just sits here on this park bench. his world is okay.

i want to be the man in the corduroy jacket.

Now, don't jump to conclusions. Perhaps she's staging a protest by expressing the size of the Pentagon budget in eyeliner.
