i pity you if you have to hang out in Monroe, but if you're ever there the cocktail lounge in the airport is probably the best dive bar in town...well, at least the most interesting...

The airport lounge is nice( I think my mother conceived me there) but there's also a couple of places off 165 that were really divey with some good bands. Of course, my favorite place was hanging out in front of the brown bag grocery with a 40. Does that count?
Last time I was there I saw a man with blue hair getting pulled over by a cop.... catfish
