i personally don't trust doctors, and would be more likely to believe a holistic practitioner, but that's me

all people can do is listen to all the information that is available, weed out what doesn't sound logical, and come to a judgement that makes sense to them

i think that in most cases, less information is not a good thing

and we're all weird

Thats it.
make jokes regarding homosexual people - in order to get people to post underneath you *oh god dinz you are so funny, nail those homos!*.

If all you can come up with is fag jokes, then you are even more sadder than i thought.

This was a normal questioned thread. Take your homosexual jokes elsewhere and come up with new material, you little piece of shit.

Tut,tut...no sense of humour some people. And I thought we were too PC for some of the daring young new posters. Never mind....I guess a sore liver will make you cranky....

JJugs...I dont give a fvck about your race, creed, colour or sexual orientation...it just seems to get on your nerves is all - exactly like your pre-pubescent writing does me. Let it slide or call me names, watch me not give a rat's cvnt about you.

i havent called you one name since you started posting your juvenile retorts.
You are right - homosexual jokes do get me upset. Atta boy, you found what gets on my nerves. Unfortunately for you - it proves your ignorance much more than what presses my buttons.

I think "the same sex parter" was supposed to be mr. flip that we all suspect is JT. I don't see the gay connection.
However, it's nice to see that the real JT is coing out to fight. I like real people.

Let's get back on topic please

Can we bring this thread back on topic?

I'm interested in hearing what others know about alternative medicine and holistic healing... which is what the liver cleanse post started.

When I first heard about a liver cleanse accomplished (by drinking olive oil and lemon juice), I was skeptical and disgusted... but then I heard more and more about people doing it and the health benefits of detoxing the liver in many ways (which is your body's filter) and now I am open to learning more about it. I am still hesitant to drink olive oil, or do anything without a doctor's supervision (and everything I read strongly urges you to do it with supervision) since I am still in the process of learning about it. Plus I am pregnant, and would rather wait till the baby comes...

The science/thought behind detox is by keeping your liver healthy, your body will benefit as a whole. Toxins do accumulate there... and we do abuse our livers by not drinking enough water and by drinking alcohol, taking pain relievers and drugs (and you should NEVER take pain relievers while you are drinking or the day after... you are really punishing your liver and causing damage). Your liver works very hard for you. Be nice to it.

As far as other alternative medicines... I have had bee venom injections to alleviate muscle tension/neck pain from a sprain and it worked amazingly! The sensation was unbelievable. I went to Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in Philadelphia to get it. The doctor is Dr. Ira Canter of the Center for Alternative Medicine. I am not sure how much it cost since it was covered by the auto accident insurance, maybe around $250 or so, but for someone with agonizing back pain, it is more than worth it.
