friday night after work i went to a club called toads. i have been going to this place for years. it holds maybe 700 or so people and they bring in some national acts, rolling stones played there also billy joel etc. so friday after work i really didnt feel like coming home so i went to toads to see this band called the nerds. great band that i had heard a lot about, mostly from people my age(44) or close to my age. anyway i was the old man there didnt see anyone i knew or anyone my age. i really dont see myself as old but i know other people or should i say 20 somethings do

Yesterday I was downtown waiting for a bus (as I do) and a Ford Bronco type vehicle drove by blasting Daft Punk's Around the World and the driver and only passenger of the vehicle was an old man who had a full head of silver hair. He was definitely old enough to be a grandpa!
I was tickled by it. |
