Talking ohmygosh

do covers count as remixes?? i guess sorta they are... i think the coolest thing ever is punk covers of eighties songs. ^___^
and techno remixes of classical music. also trés chic.

if covers DO in fact count...

Tom Waits doing "I Don't Want to Grow Up" by the Ramones.

Joey Ramone doing "What a Wonderful World" by Louis Armstrong.

I don't know what significance of the "Ramone(s)" thing lately?

I like every White Label & Fatboy Slim remix I hear.

Fatboy Slim is the best to take w/you in the Walkman for a walk.

I like the remixes the Beatmasters do (like their remix of Depeche Mode's version of "Route 66"). It always struck me how they were so good at remixing other people's music, but never as good at doing their own music...

Not really a remix in the pure sense of the word...but rather in the best way possible...A Tenacious D sense of the word....

So Ladies n' Gentlemen please bow your heads in honor of it's presence... I offer you (for a limited time only then go find your own)...

The Greatest and Best Song in the World, "Tribute"....

Tribute

Favorite Remix:

"One Girl Revolution" by Superchick(on the "Regeneration" CD. It's one of a few good tracks)

Favorite Cover:

I hate to say that I forget the title of the song. It was a cover of a Nine Inch Nails song by Johnny Cash that I've only heard once, but liked a lot.
