^^They are crunchy, then.

I loved that string of Mueck back there. I've done just enough painting to know that accurately capturing flesh tone is a maddening enterprise. His skill at it is amazing. I'd love to see them in person so I could see up close.

it's pretty intense. he used to work for Jim Henson before he started his career as an artist. He does every single detail, even on a subcutaneous level (the little blue veins that run under the skin). I got some serious goosebumps, and even something akin to fear of heights when I saw the miniature couple spooning. Very very wierd.
