Lucky Chance? Thanks for posting a picture so quick. AA's cat is a dollface also.

That boy can definitely big enough to eat solid food.

When you look in his ears does he have the black coffee grind looking stuff in them? From the picture his ears look fine.

So he is friendly? (I love to play pet detective, where do they come from, what other animals have they been around.)

Again, if you need anything just ask. If you lived near me I'd be over right now; turning him over, examining, looking at his ears and teeth and administering a little pinch on his back. And uh, squeezing him.

it's so true. the most loving cats i've ever owned have been former strays. my first, in fact, passed away at a ripe old age last year. fat, happy, clean, warm, and loved.

i just found out that my best friend broke up with his boyfriend of 6 years. for really lousy reasons. i liked his boyfriend. they were good for each other. i'm probably never going to see his now-ex again. *sigh*

i think i'm more upset about this than my friend is.

HELMSLEY--Leona. The Trustees, Overseers, Physicians, Faculty and Staff of New York-Presbyterian Hospital and Weill Cornell Medical College are deeply saddened by the passing of our dear friend Leona Helmsley. She and her late husband, Harry Helmsley, a Life Governor of the former New York Hospital, were long and dedicated supporters of the Medical Center. Their generosity established the Helmsley Medical Tower, which provides valuable clinical and living space, and funded two major centers, the Helmsley Cardiovascular Center and the Helmsley Rehabilitation Center. In 2006, Mrs. Helmsley helped to establish advanced facilities for colon and rectal surgery--the Leona M. and Harry B. Helmsley Center for Colon and Rectal Surgery and the Leona M. and Harry B. Helmsley Surgical Suite. Mrs. Helmsley was a committed advocate for medical research, education and the needs of patients and their families. Her legacy will be important to New Yorkers for generations to come. We join with all those who knew her in mourning her loss. Our deepest condolences are extended to Mrs. Helmsley's family and friends. John J. Mack Chairman Board of Trustees Herbert Pardes, M.D. President and CEO NY-Presbyterian Hospital Sanford I. Weill Chairman Board of Overseers Antonio M. Gotto Jr., M.D. Dean Weill Cornell Medical College

I'm sorry, lukku - how did you know her?

In a fit of stupidity, I plugged my AC adapter into the area usually meant for a network cable. No adapter means no juice for the old laptop, which means no battery power, which means it's just me, a novel, and the mosquitos for three days straight.

that's a real bummer. I can relate - read/finished three books and was assaulted by skeeters everytime I went outside. I(and my kids) missed MY computer so much last week that I(and my kids) are staying home this weekend.
